Are You Trying To Cram Too Much

INTO YOUR TIME?

So you think your life is so out of control you just might have to take drastic measures--like sell all your stuff and live out the rest of your life getting closer to nature.

You don't really want to go that far, do you?

Some days, though, it feels as if you're doing the work of a hundred people. You're certain you're the only one controlling a runaway train.

You're pretty sure your schedule/life is running you and not the other way around.

But you don't need to feel guilty you never have enough time to do everything you want. Everyone's in the same boat.

Technology has contributed to our hurried up world by making you feel compelled to work longer hours and to respond to every beep and chirp. (Or go chasing it down.)

Working at breakneck speed is a well-entrenched North American tradition you've probably been at since childhood.

Today you have many choices in how you spend your time. Finding things to do is seldom the problem. More often the concern is finding time to do everything you'd like to. But you can't do all things, not even all the worthwhile ones, in one lifetime, so learning to make wise time choices is vital to your success and happiness.

Pick only what is the most important to you.

A good thing to remember, probably every day. Now if I could only fit a few more hours in...

I've been working on my priorites lately and having to draw the line. A timely, great post. Thank you.

I think everyone tries to do too much. Prioritizing is a must in this day and age, especially with so many more time wasters. There are good things you can do with your time and there are GREAT things. The hard thing is to define the good vs. great and stick to your guns.
