Song: Sweet Lullaby - Deep Forest
A REALLY AMAZING PICTURE
Okay, so this isn't your usual picture. The video is eight minutes long, but it's worth the time. There's no music, no voice over, just the picture and its creator. It's been very popular over the past few months, so if you've seen it, you can have fun watching it again. It really is worth it.
Well, there seems to be some controversy. Is it real? Is it a fake? Do we care? What do you think?

I don't know why it wouldn't be real, Michael the gorilla's paintings certainly were! People don't want to think animals can do things like this, that's all. :) Elephants live a great long time and really do have good memories -- plus they're known to have varied personalities, some jokers, some introspective -- I can easily imagine one grabbing the opportunity to express themselves in a new way!
Hello thelittlefluffycat, It's really good to see you over here. I agree animals show a lot of intelligence and personality. How does the saying go? A dog, is a dog, is a dog, except for the one who thinks he's human. I thought the video was fascinating.
I'm posting this for Morgan Mandel so her comment isn't lost.
I didn't see a comment spot for the elephant. Clever idea. Real? The elephant is, but I'm not sure about after that. Some cutting a splicing may have been involved.

My reply to Morgan.
I know I'm an optimist, but I'd like to lean toward believing in the elephant.
I don't care if it's real. What does it hurt to think an elephant can be artistic? Cute, cute video!
It is indeed real... We're actually doing a show with a fashion designer (http://www.prophetik.com/) who has been trying to rescue some elephants in Thailand, and he has a line of clothing that was completely painted by elephants.
It's incredible...
I agree, David. It's amazing what animals can do. I think the video is extraordinary. I love stuff like that. I looked in on the prophetik site. It's interesting.
